 Part of its work progress and deliverables, the USAID-funded Building Alliance for Local Advancement Development and Investment (BALADI) implemented by the Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF), celebrated the inauguration of a community development project to promote rural tourism in Douma (Batroun district). USAID Mission Director Dr. Anne Patterson, RMF Executive Director Michel Moawad, members of the municipal council of Douma and Douma club, RMF Baladi team and community stakeholders were present during the event to celebrate the new facility.

Highlights

Within the framework of "BALADI" program funded by the US Agency for International Development in Lebanon (USAID), "Statistics Lebanon" outsourced by Rene Moawad Foundation and Caritas Lebanon is conducting a survey to measure the improvement of public services in the selected municipalities for the first round of "BALADI" program through the perception of various number of community representatives from the targeted local communities.
